Sunday Bougie Dog Food and Enrichment Reset

One-Pot Wonder: Instapot Doggie Edition
- Instapot
-8 lbs. chicken or pork (whatever makes your pup’s inner foodie sing)
-1/4 bag frozen veggies: each of the following veggies (broccoli, peas, green beans, carrots)
-1 bag frozen spinach
-2 large sweet potatoes
-1 bunch herbs (parsley, cilantro, or basil)
-1/4 cup rolled oats (because carbs = happiness)
-1/4 cup chia seed or hemp seed (soaked in water overnight)
-1 dozen eggs
-2 cups water
Combine meat, sweet potato and water in Instapot and cook on high pressure for 1.5 hours. Do not quick release the pressure, let it slow release. Shred, stir, and mash chicken, juice, and sweet potato like Gordon Ramsey. Add veggies, herbs, grain, seed, and eggs and cook on low pressure for 5 minutes (just enough time to wipe the drool puddle forming at your feet). Add additional water if mixture too thick. Cool before serving unless you enjoy explaining second degree tongue burns to your vet.
Can be stored in the refrigerator and freezer.
Serving Notes
Level up with sardines for a shiny coat. I add the sardines to the meal at serving time. Stand back, watch your dogs act like you’ve just unlocked Michelin-star status!

Enrichment Lick Mat Delight
- Lick Mats
- 1 small container of plain Greek yogurt (the base coat for your masterpiece)
- 3 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter (doggie kryptonite)
-1/4 cup mashed berries (bougie antioxidant vibes)
- 2 Tablespoons soaked chia seeds or hemp seeds
- 1 capsule Grass-fed Beef Organ pills (broken open and mixed in)
- 1 Tablespoon fresh herbs
- A few slices of green banana and carrots
- 2-4 Tablespoons water, coconut water, or goat milk to thin base mixture out
Mix yogurt, peanut butter, mashed berries, seeds, and organ powder together and spread onto your canvas (lick mat). Smooth it out like you are frosting a cake no one will see but your dog. Add swirls & blobs, go wild, this is your gallery showing. Add the fresh herbs, banana and carrots to the blogs and then freeze for later use.

- Stuffers such as berries, kibble, meat pieces, etc.
You can mix it up by using mashed sweet potato, pumpkin puree, melon, etc. Fill the toy with the base (whatever enrichment weapon of choice) and layer in treasures throughout such as berries, kibble, etc. it will be like finding a golden ticket. Smear a little extra on the rim because first impressions matter and freeze it. Congratulations, you’ve created a canine popsicle puzzle.
